COPs transform layer in uv space

This is a thing that's trivial in redshift of vray where textures can have their own uv's, but in Karma that's a no go. So I'm thinking there must be a way to transform a 2d image in uv space in cops? for instance if I have a background grad and multiple layers of logos to map to a sphere (which has polar uvs). I want to rotate the varoius logos around the sphere for placement before layering them in the copnet and sending the result to the shader. Possible?
