I am currently working on a high-resolution Pyro simulation fire that is proving too heavy for my local machine to cache efficiently. To optimize performance and manage the memory load, I would like to split the simulation into 3 to 4 smaller sections (distributed/sliced simulation).
Could you please guide me on the best workflow or node setup in Houdini to properly divide and merge these simulation slices for caching?

I dont think there is a built in way to distribute sparse pyro sim, just the dense one
However if you can split your source into several chunks you can use wedging to run your sim on each of them independently using the same graph
