Anybody got this problem? I get the message:

Invalid I aov checkpoint value true vs false

The same LOP tree bypassing the Background Plate lop resumes as expected. Rendering through husk and using 21.0.700

Yeah, this looks like a checkpoint/AOV mismatch issue. The error usually happens when Karma detects different settings between the original render and the resumed one.

Since it works when you bypass the Background Plate LOP, that node is likely changing something (probably AOVs or render settings), which breaks the checkpoint consistency.

You can try:

Making sure AOV settings are exactly the same before and after resume
Locking or caching the Background Plate LOP
Checking if it’s modifying any render vars or image planes
Testing with a simplified setup to isolate the issue

I’ve seen similar issues in rendering workflows before (even during a project I worked on with Isoftmarts), and it usually comes down to small setting differences.

Most likely a Karma limitation or bug with that node—hopefully SideFX fixes it soon

Thanks, but no setting difference here, it was the same render being requeued on Deadline.
