I'm trying to edit the string below:

opobj/defaultShaders/wireOccMaterial/occWireframe input2 1 angle 0 samples 4 parm 0 scope “*”

to

opobj/defaultShaders/wireOccMaterial/occWireframe

ie. deleting everything after the first space. I need to do this on all surfaces assigned to a model and not just this one so a simple replace isn't what I'm looking for. Basicaly I need some way of deleting everything after the first space.

any ideas?
