Hi
Just wondering, is there any noticable performance advantage in say using Escape as opposed to Master to do character work considering much less has to go into memory (i think) ? Or is this just a pricing thing
This is one of the main reasons why packages like Motion Builder are so fast-nothing else to concern itself with, just animate
Cheers

I was wondering the same thing and tried it out a while back. As far as I can see there is no difference resource or performance wise. Either version I load up on Linux uses ~ 65 megs of RAM and they run the same.
If you are concerned about animation speed, animate in a single view and use some light proxy geomtry. The new flipbook should also be helpful.
