I've been searching for a way to do this for a few days off and on, so far haven't found anything.. so I have 2 spline curves or say 1 spline curve and a splines / poly surface. I want to fuse a point from the curve onto a point from the surface, I have both of the geometry objects in a subnet but can't seem to be able to select points from both at the same time.
I can't seem to figure out the concept of object attachment in this program as in most 3d softwares you attach pieces of geometry together but so far this is eluding me in houdini, if anyone can shine some light on this for me I would greatly appreciate it.
Fusing points from 2 different curves?

what you're trying to do is attach two “objects” together when what you want to do is attach two pieces of “geometry” together…
it's different in Houdini and it does take a bit to get used to…
you can use the shelf tool called “Combine” - this will make a new object that uses an ‘object merge’ SOP to combine the originals…then you can use a fuse SOP
just remember
objects are objects, not geometry…
