i did a base. just a sphere, carve to be a semi sphere. convert it to Polygons and polyextrude t make it thick.

i did “Break” node the object.

and i set a fluid to drop just above it. i want the particles of the fluid break the base in 2.
but looks the particles can bounce of the surface of the base but the only way i make it to break was with gravity and colliding with the floor.

do i need to fake it? dropping and invisible sphere to break the base?
or is possible to Houdini.

Well it depends on your goal , if the fluid really needs to break the object I would manually do it as you get far more control. As to fluid breaking objects I guess that depends on the pressure of the fluid against the surface.

i will apply more density to it and change some stuff,
i thought that Houdini only break stuff by hitting them by a collision object.

thanks .
