If anyone can give advice, I would greatly appreciate it.
synopsis below:

OS: 10.5.8
2.2 ghz intel core 2 duo
graphics card: GeForce 8600M GT
4 gb ram

I was running Houdini 10.0.295 apprentice HD on my system - worked fine.
Then, upgraded to H11 11.0.504 (apprentice HD). Before I updated, I redeemed the
license. I installed 11.0.504 and it ran fine.

Yesterday, tried to open 11.0.504 and I got fatal error.
Downloaded the 11.0.528 version and installed it and same thing: fatal error.

If I open License Administrator for either 11.0.504 or 11.0.528, both have the 3 green check marks:
license server is running; license server is allowed to serve license; license admin can read and modify local licenses

10.0.295 opens and runs, but the 2 H11 versions give me a fatal error.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

Hi,
I had problems on my mac book pro with h11. In the end I just uninstalled all versions and cleaned house. Installed a fresh copy including fresh user directory. Since then I have not had many problems

I suspect I a having the same issue… however this is a relatively brand new machine and I've only installed H11 on it and both times I get a UI with white squares where the icons should be.

Basically, it's telling me it can't find "/tmp/tools_***.png which I'm assuming is where the icons should be?!

Any ideas?

If I would have read further down I would have found this:

Which handled my problem. ops:
