Apologies if this is a no brainer but I'm very new to Houdini and am struggling with this.

I have a sphere and I want to select just a few of its points so that I can create a Group SOP with them to allow other nodes to work on just that selection of points.

I've managed to do this but I find that I'm not able to change the selection of points in the Group SOP afterwards- I make a new selection, try to use the “Transfer selection to pattern” button in the Group SOP's parameters but it doesn't seem to do anything.

How do I change the points that the Group SOP is using? (I.e. make a new selection of points in the view pane and get the existing Group SOP to use that selection?)

Thanks in advance!

With your Group Sop selected, press Enter to enter the node's state, then you can press ~ to reselect the points. Press Enter to complete and you have a new selection.
