need help with baking textures

Hello,

I'm trying to use the mantra -u command to save out an occlusion map, but for some reason I cant get around this problem. It seems that half of the texture is always inverted. I've tried adjusting uv's, lights, shaders, normals to no avail. Any ideas what's going wrong?

Nevermind.

The default mantra shader must be using frontface().
A simple shader without frontface works fine.
