Problems with cookie

Hi,

I'm trying to make a plane with spheres and then to subtract a surrounding tube. See the attached image…
But Houdini just lefts out a lot of triangles of the spheres. Do I anything wrong with the cookie-node? Or is it a bug in Houdini? I attached the Houdini-file.

The problem is that cookie has problems with your first input geometry because it is not closed. See attached file for a fix.

The easiest way to fix this is to initially create the tube with end caps. In order to preserve your edit I put down a fuse to attach the caps so they follow along properly. This now closed geometry properly cookies the grid. The delete removes the end caps and it is as you would expect it.
