how to compare images in the renderer

in 3ds max we had a ram player which was very handy for comparing images. is there a similar tool for houdini?

For a standalone program, there is mplay [sidefx.com] (aka Image Viewer in the Start Menu). Or you can just compare images directly in the Render View or Composite View. See http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini10.0/ref/views/imgview [sidefx.com]
