I have this chair that i made from two curves with a skin between them and i was editing it and the thing that you use to move and size it appeared far away from it and not in the center does anyone know how to fix that?

I'm not sure I understand you but it sounds a bit like your object is moved away with respect to its pivot. There are various ways of dealing with it but I suggest that you move the object back to its center, and then go a level up into the scene context and move the whole object from there.
