I use a magnet dop and a metaball force to blast objects, but they always
blast radially, how to randomize the direction?

you can make you own force with DOP force and easily control this since you have objid in there

but if you don't want to make custom force you can start by randomizing mass of the objects

You can use more than one metaball.

Metaballs have an intrinsic orientation. Generally I keep the Z scale as the forward direction force and decrease or increase X and Y locked together to be the spread force.

See the attached file.

Also, like all the other forces, you can add a Noise Field to the second input of the Magnet Force to modulate its intensity.

Absolutely! But not that much control though. If you go to the trouble of using metaball forces, it's good to use them to tailor the effect.

You can modify the copied metaballs individually too!. Just scale them with the Primitive SOP to fine tune.

hi,guys

I encounter a new problem. I use johner's voronoi shatter tool to shatter
an animated sphere, and want to blast it after frame 15.
but nothing blasted.
if I use a static object, that works.why?

This is very simple to do.
I took your file and moved the animation OUT of SOPs and put at the object level. Best not to animate thigns in SOPs that don't have to be. You placed the transform SOP very high up in the chain forcing all the SOPs to re-cook all the time anyway.

To make your object passive from frame 1-14, go to the Drive Simulation Shelf and press the Deactivate tool.
Next select all your boulder pieces and press Enter.
This will de-activate your boulder and you should see your Object level animation (no need to re-calculate the collision geo either ).

To activate the pieces, go to frame 15.
Press the Activate tool shelf, select your pieces again and hit Enter.

Now your boulder will shatter on frame 15.

See the attached file for the result of the above steps.
