Hi
I work through rollercoaster tutorial from SESI video tutorial site
I have jiggle camera which jiggling is triggered(trigger CHOP)
by car passing by,distance value detected.
So I have suddenly a high jiggle of camera that slowly stops
The channel have high value at the beginning and at the end is zero, only in y axe.But this slowdown I can?Lt get exactly.I just need something which will smoth part of the curve.
So I should take third part of curve, select it and than…
I can RMB Click and get “Edit channel data” but this is not exactly
what I think of
I can do manualy because it?Ls only 10-15 keys,but
when I have a large amout of keys.
Scaling (non)uniformaly of selected keys down to zero
will be ideal.I can?Lt just crop the keys and manipulate
Also,I?Ld like to manipulate CHOP as in channel editor,
Alsao, I can display dots, but I can move only values, rigidly…

Best regards,
Ben

You can try using a Filter CHOP. There is also a Limit CHOP which you can use to clamp values.

So I should take third part of curve, select it and than…

You can use the Trim CHOP to… erm… trim the part(s) of the channel you don't want/need.

Also,I?Ld like to manipulate CHOP as in channel editor,

With CHOPs, please be aware you're dealing with channel data. When you select “Edit channel data”, Houdini will convert the data into raw which is what you're seeing. Each “dot” represents the value of the data at that sample or that “point” in time.

I would recommend reading through the CHOPs Reference Manual for more information. Click on the “?” button at the top right of Houdini window then in the Houdini browser, click on the "Motion and Audio (CHOPs) Reference Manual link.

Cheers!
