My Houdini master licence will not install a new licence it just goes around in a loop asking to install a licence then offering to start Houdini But doesn’t install a new licence. I can run Houdini select in the mean time but is there some issue where new licences aren’t being issued for Houdini master?

I just retrieved a new Master license so, the problem should be on your end.

Assuming yu are using windows…

go to C:\Windows\Keys

and either delete all the files in there or move them to a sub directory

Got to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services

And stop the Houdini Client and Server services
Restart both services

Launch Houdini Master and try to acquire a new license.

2 days later it just worked
