Hi all, I'm looking for a way to make an object receive shadows but not cast them. If I turn “phantom” on it will cast shadows but it won't receive them.
So basically if I have a sphere and a cube on the ground I would like the sphere to receive the shadow from the cube but it shouldn't cast it's shadow on the ground
Many thanks James, yep works for my scene but still, looks like it could get complicated if you have a scene with many objects. Hopefully SESI will add at some point a simple cast shadow toggle on the object render props… just like the phantom one.
