Hi,

when I use the OpenGL-ROP for rendering, all the result are wireframe and with some decorations (point numbers).

I tried different settings for shading mode and gl rendered… Makes no difference. Always wireframe with point numbers.

Is there a option, I am not aware or is this just a plain bug?

Point numbers are still present in ogl render.
It seems the rest is working now…

Can anybody confirm this?

Have you done a “Save as Default” in the 3D viewport display options while point numbers were on? The OpenGL ROP should be changed to ignore all decorations, but I suspect this may be what is happening in your case.

You can remove the defaults by deleting display.pref in $HOME/houdini12.1, or by saving a new set of defaults through the Display Options dialog.

Thanks twod, for your suggestion.
It was even simpler. I just got feedback from support.

The scene renderer was set to H11. When I change the setting to one of the ogl modes, the error does not appear. With H11 it remains but I can live with that.

Cheers
