Can any one help me with the attached H 11 file.
I keep having error when i open it in H 12.
In H 11 I do not have problem.
I built the file in H 11 and trying to open it in H 12.
But, I keep having errors in the sop.

I did try it already. But, I have some other problem in shop for that particular obj when I open it in H 12, I can not set geo light in that obj, I believe because of the original problem in sop. I have spent long days and months to figure it out to set geo light for the obj w/o any success yet.
Can you help me please further ? Thank you
Steve

your problem is related to the bug in Blast SOP that was in older builds
in your file it's leaving degenerate primitives
then the polysplit is cutting some primitives by their number
so after the bug was fixed (namely: Houdini 12.0.661: The blast SOP will now correctly delete degenerate primitives when deleting point groups.) degenerate primitives are being deleted and therefore the polysplit is erroring because it cannot find primitives which it should split since all numbers were shifted
there is no simple fix for that only to open your scene in pre H12.0.661 and save the obj as circusmonkey suggested
and I had no problem using that exported geometry as geometric light, can you post a scene with your problem
(make sure you have Transform Into This Obj checked on your geo light if you have problems with alignment to the original geometry)
