Hi there,

I've spent the last few weeks trying to learn Houdini and also trying to find tutorials to actually help me with this process, however there doesn't appear to be any tutorials that are remotely up to date with the latest software.

Does anyone know where I might find up to date tutorials?

Thanks in advance

You can find some great tutos from Peter Quint here > http://vimeo.com/user2030228 [vimeo.com]
There aren't for the last build, but except the new features of H13, it's a good start IMO.

Thank you for the responses guys!

Peter Quints tutorials are brilliant.

I find Ari Danish just does things without explaining why he's put this or that there, or why he's connecting nodes etc… or why he's using that particular piece of code, he's very hard to follow for someone just starting out in Houdini. The fact that the versions are so different really doesn't help either.

Hmmm. the big secret is actually how similar the versions..

You can learn lots from older tutorials. It won't be exactly the same but each version of Houdini builds on the next.
