Using the FLIP Tank, It would be very helpful if I could start the simulation from a selected frame.

ex. 1-240 frames (simulate 200-240)

In my case, I have a camera panning around for many frames before the simulated part would be visible. I have an idea how to bypass this problem, but I'm wondering whether Houdini provides a function such as the one I request.

Why you don't use Start Frame parameter in the AutoDopNetwork ?
Also you can use Creation Frame parameter in the fliptank Object inside AutoDopNetwork :!:
