So, finally getting around to trying out Amazon for rendering.

I've signed up, but no-where anywhere on the Amazon Web Service site can I find any mention or hint of Houdini existing.

that doc is wildly out of date, which doesn't help

I'm hoping I can be suitably embarassed by something obvious, just spent close to 2 wasted hours trying to set this up.

Using latest 14.0.265 Linux 64bit at home with Indie, but given that this is an issue with the Amazon site (can't even sign up for Houdini stuff) I'm guessing it's not really a Houdini problem.

So the only way I could find it was to submit, let it fail, then look in the Fail log for this link:

Yeah, that doc is pretty outdated; the way I found to do it is after signing up for AWS, in Houdini go to Render > Cloud Properties… then click Sign Up.

I did that, but only after I'd actually signed up on Amazon itself
