NOOB...painting pinned or fixed points on FEM

I am looking at doing an organic tissue simulation of a medical device being inserted into a cervix

I only want the simulation to deform the edges of the surface being collided with….I want to show the device pushing just the inner organic walls….but not affect the position of the entire mesh

I have set up the colliding geometry, and disabled gravity…however when calculating the colliding geometry hits the mesh and pushes the entire mesh when ideally it should just slide inside the opening.

Is there a way to paint a fixed position attribute to hold the outer organic walls in place and let the interior react dynamically?
And after what node would this be added (geo or autoDOP….noob I warned you)

Thanks

I think ‘Follow Target’ in Sold shelf tool will pin points down
