Hello,

I was hoping someone could tell me why when I create my digital asset then go to use it ( install and create in an empty new file) the expressions in the parameters are omitted.

The only thing I get are the created parameters themselves.

Any help is appreciated thanks.

Ok..I found out why this was happening.

When I was creating my “control” parameters I was doing it right on the node itself; the node being the subnet that was right clicked and “create digital asset” done to it, meaning through that nodes “Edit parameter interface”.

What I should have been doing is bring up that nodes “Edit Operator Type Properties” window ( by right clicking the node and selecing “Type Properties…” )

In that window there is a Parameters Tab.

And in that tab is where the “work” is done.

I got this by viewing through the tutorial video again.

I think I missed this small point the first time around because inside the Parameters Tab it looks the same as the nodes “edit parameter interface” window.
