Hi!

I have a particle emitter with particles that collide with a grid surface. How do I get the particle behavior that bounce and/or stick to the surface to paint a color or transfer a texture?

The goal is to have the collision painted spots on the surface to deform.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice!!

Can you please go into more detail, or point me in the direction of a tutorial or something that might be helpful? I'm really new to Houdini, and still figuring out how everything links together.

Thanks

This might help, but I suggest reading the rest of the page too before diving into just this section.
