Hello!
I've been working really hard on this dust simulation and now I'm trying to make it happen on a moving car wheel. I've got an alembic file that I imported in Houdini as geometry and it works fine. When I put the sources particles on my geo, however, particles come out of the tires but they don't drop like they should do in a particles simulation.
I've got gravity working and I thought of making velocity a negative value but none of them worked, The particles gets created and stay frozen in the air as the tires move forward.
Here's my file so far. I put in the alembic file through import > alembic scene > Load As > Load Houdini Geometry and I unchecked the “Load Full Object Hierarchy” box.
Anyone knows how to fix this? Please help.
Thank you.

It's hard to say without seeing your file, but I generally bring in alembic files as the default Delayed Load Primitives and use the unpack SOP, then convert to polygons. Check in the Geometry Spreadsheet to make sure rest and v vectors are coming in. Also check to make sure you're inheriting velocity from the geometry you're spawning particles from
