Hi everyone,

I can't get anything done, even when I put down a null, Houdini seems to evaluate it forever. I can't do anything else for that time of course. It's just a message in the bottom corner that says ‘evaluating python’ then ‘updating exports’ and ‘run Hscript command’ it switches between these three messages and never gets anything done. It seems to last forever to put anything into my scene. For example it takes about a minute to just put a grid in my scene.

If anyone has any solutions for this I'd love the crap out of you.

Thanks in advance for any help.

That sounds like the symptoms of the NVidia graphics driver issue that a lot of people have been hitting: https://www.sidefx.com/forum/topic/48649/ [sidefx.com] If you go to NVidia's website and download and install driver version 378.66 or higher, it should hopefully fix the problem.
Writing code for fun and profit since... 2005? Wow, I'm getting old.
