Hi, I have read recently that Houdini 16 has been unstable for many users. I have been very eager in learning the program, and I was going through tutorials on site and the program kept crashing continuously. I have not been able to spend more than 5 min in the program without it crashing.

I would really appreciate some help.

I have an ASUS G-752,
32GB RAM
GeForce 970
driver version 391.35

can you do:
Help > About Houdini > Show Details > Save and send this file to support with a description of the actions you are taking and any crash logs you may have?

I use 2-3 different version of Houdini every day and it never crashes, so something odd is happening with your setup.
