quick question please, does anyone know why the flipbook renders always look brighter than my viewport?


Gamma seems to be the same, is there anything I'm missing?

I think this bug was recently introduced. I have been manually setting the viewer's gamma to 1.0 as a temporary fix.

Thank you for your reply. Happy to know it's not something I'm doing wrong on my part. I ended up changing the viewport BG to black, it works better for my needs anyway.

It should be fixed in a recent daily build, it was a temporary regression.

Has this issue resurfaced?

im running 17.0.416 and am having the problem - setting the gamma to 1 solves it but i have to do this every time i view a new flipbook!

The flipbook issue we believe, was fixed in Houdini 17.0.418, please upgrade to our latest build.
