Hello there, I have an Indie license with the intention of using HDAs in Cinema 4D.

I followed the instructions on https://www.sidefx.com/faq/licensing-trouble/#faq207 [www.sidefx.com] with regards to the error “WARNING: An old version of the license server (4.x or older)” and added a mapping from my machine to 127.0.0.1 to the /etc/hosts file. This allowed me to run the License Administrator correctly and ultimately load HDAs into C4D as expected, it seemed to work fine.

Problems arose when trying to use Team Render. Under the Team Render machines list, I get “Errno #48 Address is already in use”

Removing the mapping from the hosts file and restarting the computer reverts to the the previous situation: I can use TeamRender but Houdini's License Server won't load the new version and I cannot run HDAs in Cinema.

Hope someone can help, I am not a network admin at all, just a dude at home trying to learn ;;
