Hello Folks,

i have managed to export fractured geo from houdini into ue4 with textures from houdini,
the question is when i export geo from ue4 into houdini , i get the material path for each geo,
and after fracturing the geo when i export the geo back , what do i need to do to get the materials back in unreal ,
yes the fractured geo has all the material path attributes while exporting back as alembic

the process i have done is as follows

from ue4 exported a geo into houdini as fbx, and in houdini converted it into alembic, fractured the geo , and re exported back to ue4,

and this turorial in here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4uLy1P3X4g, [www.youtube.com] it says that if the reference path for the material is copied and pasted into a string attribute (unreal_material) it works , but this this is about importing a digital asset and not alembic import, is there a way of making the same method work using alembic export?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Thx
