Blockhead is one of New Zealand’s leading high-end visual effects studio, proudly owned by its creative directors, Stefan Coory and Nigel Mortimer. Having spent years overseas in senior roles at leading post houses, they returned to New Zealand in 2008 to found Blockhead, with the desire to produce world-class work out of Auckland. An expansion to Sydney in 2017 has helped to facilitate Blockhead’s continued growth and increased visual effects capabilities. Blockhead is now looking at growing its talented Sydney team with a full-time Houdini artist.
