I created a relative reference path in a PointVop texture, that's pointing at a texture in a material so I can copy the color of the texture to the points of the mesh.
According to the manual one would expect that when the original texture in the material is replaced, the texture in the PointVop is automagically updated as well.
But this doesn't seem to be the case. I can only get it to refresh by manually fiddling with the texture node in the PointVop.
Is there a way to make it refresh the relative reference paths automatically ?
Houdini v.18.5.672
Thanks,
R.

Hey thanks.
What I did was copy the parameter, which is a basic path pointing towards a texture file in a Redshift material. And then paste that path as a "relative reference" into a Pointvop Texture node, where the colors of the texture file are copied into a point color attribute to colorize some particles.
When I replace the texture in the material nothing happens, I have to navigate into the Pointvop node, and toggle some setting to "wake up" Houdini and refresh the texture file.
I guess the whole point of a "relative reference" is to automatically refresh a referenced file, and it sounds pretty straight forward to me. The way it works now I might as well copy / paste the whole path.
So I was wondering, am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug ?
