How does one disable keys in the Animation Editor ?
When I select some keys in dopesheet view, RMB select "Disable Keys", the keys are greyed out, but this has no effect whatsoever on the animation.
Is it broken, or am I doing something wrong ?
Thanks.

Ah, great thanks.
So you have to select the keys you don't want deactivated as well.
Why not do that automagically by design, or rename it to "disable animation range" or something like that ?? When you select keys and deactivate them, you expect to actually deactivate the selected keys and not a range.
Not very intuitive omho :-/

toonafishessentially you are enabling/disabling frames/frame ranges, they don't even have to be full segments between keyframes
So you have to select the keys you don't want deactivated as well.

I personally find Animation Editor quite buggy and full of surprises
like if you have disabled keys deal with snapshots your disabled keys will be enabled

Hey, Houdini is full of surprises, but that’s why it’s called Houdini I suppose ;-)

RFE, maybe I’ll do just that.
Thanks.
