I'm having trouble getting the glue to work inside my dopnet. The geometry group and target appear to be correct, however, it doesn't seem to work.

those groups are point groups
so if you change Group Type to Point it should work

changing Group Type to Points would also make them show up in the Group menu so doing that first and then picking groups from the menu may make your life easier
