Houdini Hair to UE5 Issue

Hey everyone. I'm currently attempting to render a parrot with feathers in unreal after creating the feather system in Houdini. Unfortunately, I'm unable to get the groom cache to export with the alembic.

The parrot base was animated in C4d and imported into Houdini where it was dressed with the feathers to be exported to Unreal Engine 5.

After many failed attempts, I attempted to do a simple version of the scene where I used an animated sphere out of C4D. imported the alembic into Houdini, added a hair system and exported it into Unreal. Surprisingly, this simple version worked as intended. However, when the same process is followed using the parrot base it doesn't work in any way which has me confused. I'm completely stuck and would appreciate any help whatsoever. Thanks in advance to those who engage with this post.
