I am a katana user and I can create tools easily in katana even I can't scripts.
Wonder is there any tips or tricks or forum. that I can ask " if I do this in katana how do I do this in Solaris way ? "
I feel that this is will help me learn Solaris much faster .This way also can help Solaris to be more efficient.

Example.
in katana we use variable switch and variable alot.
Is there something similar in Solaris and is there any examples?

I think so . I don't see a lot of tutorials how to use it exactly.
with different examples.
I set up the shot switch with index with frame range update, that's all I see on the tutorials.
