Hi, I have complex HIP files that only seem to load properly on my Houdini 18.

For some time now I haven't been able to install the Free Houdini Apprenice License, and the only way to get around it was to install Houdini 18.5 Non-Commercial license. Once that was done, the license seems to also enable me to run for the Houdini 18.0.348 Apprentice.

Now however I cannot install even the 18.5 Apprentice license. When I try to launch it, I get the Pop Up that asks me if I want to install a free license or the paid licenses. Normally I would select the free license and then press Next.

That then comes up with the End User License Agreement, which I need to Accept. This would then install the license and that would be it.

But what happens instead, is that the Console window jus thangs there with a cursor and never disappears. So something is preventing the license to be installed and now I cannot open my HIP files.

Could anyone please help how I could get my Houdini 18.0 to work again with the Apprentice License

I managed to install the latest build (Houdini 19.5.716) and that also now allows me to open Houdini 18.0, so that seemed to have worked.
