I'll be the one to ask - with H20 out - how can I import all my stuff into H20?

- User shelves
- Custom desktops
- Saved node presets

...and all the other good stuff?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

just copy them from the previous houdini user pref folder to the current one or used a centralized location to store those files.

Okay, solved this one!

On the very right of your left main shelf, you will find a small dropdown icon (arrow down).
Click and press "Save Shelf Set As..."

Save it here:
Locate the User Folder "Houdini20.0", then "toolbar".

It will automatically load up next time.

In the User folder "Houdini19.5" - check each folder and compare to those in the "Houdini20.0" folder.
Copy everything that's missing.

At least that's how I did it.

this is usually enough, although I would be hesitant to copy .pref files as changes between major versions might invalidate them.
