Hi everyone
I was hoping someone would be able to help me,
Just recently began learning muscle SIM in houdini, after experimenting with the TREX leg I moved along making my own set-up for a cheetah, I finish making my muscle set up but for whatever reason when I get to the muscle's solver vellum node, the node doesn't seem to be caching anything.
I cache the results from the muscle flex node to make sure it was working, and it seems fine, the problem seems to be isolated to the vellum muscle solver
I've included my scene in this post in case it helps. The cheetah asset can be obtained from the ziva website as a free educational asset
Muscle Vellum Solver no caching sim (houdini 19)

hi LaylaLDP
Unfortunately the cheetah asset is not freely available to test with since a full Ziva license is required.
Maybe you could zip up a small sequence of files output from the bone animation as well as your source muscle surfaces?
Also, it looks like you have FileCache nodes upstream in your muscle configuration that are reading sequeces of geo files? The chain of sops that process your muscles should *not* be time-dependent.
