Hi guys,
Is there a way to set geometry to force render in Karma even if the display flag is set to off, like in the Mantra rop?
I often forget to unhide stuff after working with it and it's creating inefficient render overheads.

I have a single block of animation and I am cutting it up into 3 different shots with 3 different camera angles.
I import up to using sop and scene import and then split out 3 different cameras and renders.
I have render setting and usd rops as my output and I send these to deadline.
I don't use the out context at all.
Ii use a combination of prune nodes and rendergeometrysettings nodes with matte holdouts to hide various elements in different passes per shot

I'm afraid I'm still not quite understanding where things are going wrong for you in terms of hiding/unhiding, when/where you're doing it, and how/where you do/don't want things hidden. Maybe someone else will immediately jump in with the exact answer you need but, otherwise, I'll need a bit more of a step-by-step walkthrough of your workflow.
