Hi there, I was wondering if there is a way to create a group of UV border points in the obj context. I tried the group node using edges but couldn't see any options to specify uv edges over vertex edges. I also started creating a vopsop network but I'm having trouble with that also

Any ideas?

I don't know what do you want to do exactly or for what !?
I think you wanna create an edge group from UV , Right ?

Maybe the Houdini has simple way to create edge group from UV ,I don't know :?
But I have a simple idea :

Convert the UV values to the Point Position in the 3D Space ,Use simple Group SOP to create edge group from that ,Then copy this group to the Original object

Check attached file for more details 8)

I have a job where I am applying a deformation to a piece of furniture btu the deformation should fall off when it gets near to the seems of the modelled fabric. The geometry is attached at the seems but the uv's are not. I wanted to create a point group/attribute that I could then smooth and use as a kind of ‘mask’ for the deformation.

Your solution sounds like it should work, ill try it out when I get back to work
