hi i am new bie to houdini. trying to render through rendeman i cant attach shaders and cant see privew of the shaders

the shader privew was unable to connect to renderman
this is most likely due to the fact that
a) prman is not in your path
b)the houdini display device is not installed please intall the latest houdini display driver for prman and restart houdini

i am using houdini 7 with renderman 11.5.3 version which supports maya 6
it would be great if some one can help me out how to setup houdini and renderman on windows xp briefly it would be greatly apprictiated
