Hello!

When I render a scene what makes a difference, a high speed processor or a professional video card.

In other words, between this two components (processor and video card) wich one is used for rendering!

The cpu does all the rendering, unless you're using something like NVidia's gelato which is wired to the graphics hardware and splits the work between both.

That's why render farm machines are a fraction of the cost of workstations - you just want a snappy processor(s), RAM and a disk drive.
