Hello, I know this has been asked before but is there a way to duplicate Max's Shell Modifier in Houdini?

Thanks guys. I really appreciate this community. I did find a way to do what I needed. I had a cad piece that I converted with open faces that was giving me some issues. The solution I came up with in case anyone else runs into a similar issue was to use the convert polygon to VDB. Yes, the VDBs gave me a funky outline. But what I figured out was just because I couldn't see the voxels didn't mean they weren't there. I played with the iso value offset when converting back to polys and it gave me the original ‘paper thin’ object back with some thickness that I could dial in with the iso offset. Again, thanks for the feedback.

Hi,

you can use poly extrude and union-boolean to give thickness to your objects.

cheers
