How do you access any functionality that relies on the middle mouse button then?

No matter what I try, this alembic just won't export properly to C4D. When I re-import it into Houdini it displays perfectly, the streaks reach their target and disappear.

However, within C4D they just stay put and nothing happens. Any ideas?

You can see that only the first two behave this way, also there is this weird shape in the beginning that should only appear when the spears start firing. Houdini does all the right things but not sure how to export it correctly?

I'm trying to visualize disturbance but it seems to happen outside of the box? Is that a bug?
