    Oh my goodness!!! I must be dreaming? I have waited for a thousand years and searched across all galaxies for this exact type of tutorial of character rigging from START all the way to finish including blendshapes.     This is all incredible. I've been watching your talks on Houdinis youtube so many times, and have integrated Houdini in my character work as a result. These videos are both educational and inspirational, and I'm learning so much by looking into the HIP files. Tusen hjertelig takk!!       These workflows (and more) are actually being implemented into our animation pipeline as we speak. We’re steadily moving toward using Houdini across all sorts of departments, modeling, rigging, and animation at Qvisten in the future.
      Houdini is already a vital part of our pipeline with CFX, FX, Solaris, USD and Karma at the heart of it.

      Houdini is freakin awesome! And such great tool for all things character related, and im superexcited about it!

      Thank you very much! It took some time to figure out, but coming from the shortcomings of Maya, aka non procedural, all the stuff that i have finally found out is stuff that i was never ever able to to i Maya, but with Houdini and only Houdini, you now can. 🤩🔥🤩

    I’m having a problem downloading the Hip file it gets to completing island profile then stops there tell it crashes

      Try to set Houdini to manual and start at the beginning of the file. Then set Houdini to Auto Update and work your way throug the file from there. Best of luck! :)

    Really glad you included the section on exporting to unreal, i have had some little setups working in houdini, but if you have the wrong attributes, it makes unreal crash or do horrible twisted things to your character! I was able to look at the attributes you kept, and get a working setup!

    have you tried doing a character in unreal using houdini engine? that could be useful. i'm gonna try that next.

    also, metahumans... i saw a guy who had a stylized character he made in maya working with metahumans, so i wanna figure that out..

    I've already gotten vellum clothing assets working with metahuman, that's actually pretty easy once you figure it out. i just followed a demo setup marvelous designer/clo, and it was pretty similar. wanna do hair, next... the metahuman houdini hdas actually provide some really great hair tools for doing braids and buns and cornrows, etc...

    I wanna get the whole kit working!!! :D
