I am experienced CG artist and on set VFX supervisor. I was working as CG Supervisor at Axis Animation, Glasgow until recently. Some really exciting projects here, like trailers and in game cinematics for Bungie Destiny. I also work as senior freelance Houdini FX artist and compositor. I have been working on procedural modeling, lighting, shading and rendering in Houdini/Redshift/Octane and compositing at Animatrix animation studio recently. We have been doing animated commercials for Danish Railroad Company. At Topalsson I was working on various tasks including compositing, vehicle rigging and animation, fluid and particle effects. Previously as Compositing and FX team lead at Froggy Heart animation studio, I solved a lot of problems and had a variety of interesting tasks. R&D of lighting and rendering solutions, scripting, CG camera work, and directing. And of course compositing supervision and some FX, like cloth simulation, particles, dust, etc. I taught successful Fusion compositing class for junior compositors and Houdini FX class here at our studio as well. In one year I have got two promotions in the company I am working for (from sn. compositor to comp. team lead and later to head of comp. and FX department). less

Hello all,
I'm trying to pass detail string attribute with edge pattern (p1-0 p2-3 etc.) to group field in dissolve node, but it doesn't work. Anyone has an idea why?
Edit: it works if I just manually copy and paste the pattern string from detail string attribute I've created previously.
