Hi there,

I noticed recently that when you make the default Wave Tank shelf tool and you move the center of the wave tank up or down and then change the Water Level to match it, the fluid sinks.

This behavior seems incorrect to me so I'm wondering if anyone has any solutions to this because currently you can only move Wave Tanks in X and Z which seems like quite a limitation.

Hopefully I'm wrong though and there's just some checkbox I'm missing somewhere!

After searching and searching I'm still unable to get Houdini Engine for Maya 2018 to work.

Everytime I go to load the plugin in Maya it waits a second then pops up saying that HARS.exe has stopped working.
Also, in the script editor there is this message:

I am on Houdini 17 using Maya 2018 on Windows 7.

If anyone has any tips on how to get Houdini Engine to work in Maya 2018 I would greatly appreciate it as I have tried uninstalling Maya and Houdini several times now and am starting to pull my hair out.

Did the Python panel ‘Viewport Color Editor’ change in H16? When I search for it in the help file it just shows up blank.
Any ideas?
