Hi everyone,

I'm new to the world of macs and just trying to install apprentice to play with it. Every time I get to the step: Destination Select with Install for all users of this machine, it basically gets stuck. I can't press the continue button only the Go Back button.

Has anyone run into this before? If so what was the solution?

I'm running on a MacBook Pro with OS X Leopard, Core 2 Duo with 4 GB Ram..

I've just switched over to houdini 5.5 and of course textures and materials are now defunct. I'm trying to figure out how to use an existing image as a bump map as well as a texture. (Much like the texture and bumpmap texture sops in previous versions worked) How do I go about doing this?

I was just running through some tutorials and one of them uses the model SOP to create leaves for an L-system. I've tried to emulate what they've done there but I can't seem to get the model SOP to work so that I can create curves….does anyone know how to use it in the latest version of Houdini? I know its to be phased out…what is it being replaced by?
